Communication and Collaboration


Each group will also be awarded a possible additional 10 Marks for their final project for their Communication and Collaboration.
These marks will be assessed by Mr O'Carroll and Mr D'Aguiar and not by the Guest Judges, and will be assessed through the course of the project and at the end.

The 10 Marks are based on:
  • Communication and Collaboration of the Group in compiling the project. (4 Marks)
  • Spelling, Punctuation and use of Grammar in the final project. (3 Marks)
  • The academic style and referencing of sources in the final project. (3 Marks)

and will be awarded as follows.

Communication and Collaboration of the Group
4 Marks
The group have effectively used the Project Page and Discussion Tab to communicate and equally share workloads. There has been no evidence of communication outside of the wiki and the group has fully used the capabilities of the wiki.
3 Marks
The group have often used the Project Page and Discussion Tab to communicate and share workloads almost equally. There has been a little evidence of communication outside of the wiki and the group has used most of the capabilities of the wiki.
2 Marks
The group have infrequently used the Project Page and Discussion Tab to communicate and share workloads, although much of the initiative and majority of workload have been seen in one or two members of the group. There has been evidence of communication outside of the wiki and the group has used some of the capabilities of the wiki.

The group have barely used the Project Page and Discussion Tab to communicate and share workloads.The initiative and majority of workload have been seen and completed by one or two members of the group. The final project shows spelling, punctuation and the rules of grammar used to a high standard using a range of specialist language appropriately and accurately.

The final project shows spelling, punctuation and the rules of grammar used to an acceptable standard using some specialist language appropriately and accurately.
1 Marks
The final project shows spelling, punctuation and the rules of grammar used to a poor standard using very little specialist language appropriately and accurately.
0 Marks
The final project shows problems with spelling, punctuation and the rules of grammar.There is little evidence of any specialist language or terms.

Academic Style and Referencing of Sources
3 Marks
The final project has an academic appearance with the majority of information coming from clearly understood and explained text. All sources referenced and, where relevant, hyperlinked in the resource section of the project.
2 Marks
The final project has a mostly academic appearance with the some of information coming from text which shows some understanding and explanation. Most sources referenced and, where relevant, hyperlinked in the resource section of the project.
1 Marks
The final project has very little academic appearance with the little information coming from text which shows little understanding of the information and a high amount of copy and paste. Some sources referenced and, where relevant, hyperlinked in the resource section of the project.
0 Marks
The final project has no academic appearance with the project relying on unsourced media to deliver information. There is very little textual content, and the content that is there is copy and paste. Very few, if any, sources referenced and little or no hyperlinks in the resource section of the project.
